About Catherine

Empowering students to reach their full potential is at the heart of my teaching practice. With three years of experience supporting elementary through high school learners, I focus on building confidence and fostering a genuine love for learning rather than simple memorization. I specialize in Math, English, Science, History, Business, and Test Preparation. I adapt my methods to your unique needs by utilizing visual aids, hands-on activities, and collaborative discussions. By celebrating small successes and providing consistent positive reinforcement, I keep students engaged even when tackling difficult concepts. I prioritize clear communication through regular check-ins to ensure we are aligned on your goals. Seeing a student achieve a major academic milestone is the most rewarding part of my work. I am happy to meet at your home, a library, or online. I truly look forward to helping you or your child thrive in every lesson.
