About Catherine

Hi families! My name is Katie, and I have 6 years of experience teaching in public schools across Pre-K, Kindergarten, and 1st grade. I earned my bachelor's degree from Wheaton College in Massachusetts, where I double majored in Early Childhood Education and Psychology. I also hold a Master's degree from University of Saint Joseph in Literacy and have completed Lexia LETRS training in the Science of Reading, giving me a strong background in evidence-based literacy instruction. I am passionate about helping children build both confidence and strong academic foundations in a supportive, engaging environment. While literacy is my primary area of expertise, I am also happy to support students with early elementary math skills. I believe learning should feel encouraging, personalized, and meaningful. My goal is always to help children grow not only academically, but also in their confidence and love of learning. I would love the opportunity to support your child's growth!
