About Catherine

Empowering elementary students to reach their full potential is the cornerstone of my eight years of tutoring experience. I hold a college degree and maintain a certification in Individualized Education Programs (IEP). My approach centers on building confidence and fostering a genuine love for learning rather than simple memorization. I assess your child's unique style through active listening and open communication, ensuring my methods evolve alongside their needs. Whether we are tackling math or English, I connect challenging concepts to real-world interests to keep students engaged. I am comfortable working in libraries, schools, or coffee shops and am happy to work alongside your pets. Witnessing that "aha!" moment when a student masters a difficult skill is the most rewarding part of my work. I look forward to supporting your child's growth and celebrating their successes with you.
