I have cared for many seniors that are at all different levels. I love the time I spend with seniors, they have great stories and I learn something with everyone of the stories. I just finished taking care of my aunt for 15 yrs. She had a stroke and needed lots of care, bathing, dressing, paying her bills and running errands to name a few. We all will be there one day and to be treated with respect and kindness is the thing we all hope for.
In California, I took care of a dementia patient. I stayed over night and cooked, swam, took walks and clean & bath this wonderful gentleman. He passed way, but I so enjoyed taking care of him. It was a great experience.
I also care of a woman who broke her leg and needed assistance dressing, cooking, running errands, getting in and out of bed, simple care.
I've currently been caring for a patient recovering from a stroke. And unfortunately also had cancer at the same time.
