About Cate

Hi, I'm Cate! I'm from Western New York and have lived in NYC for a year now. I'm currently a postbac premed student at Columbia University. I graduated from Georgetown University in 2025 with a degree in computer science and worked as a software engineer for a year before pivoting to pursue a career in medicine. I started working with kids when I was in high school. I began teaching ballet and got the most experience while leading a summer program for 3-5-year-olds. The kids would come for the day and have class, lunch, crafts, and playtime! In college I continued child care while abroad where I taught third grade students English. My skills include patience, creativity, and problem solving. I am looking for part time work.
