About Cate

Hi, my name is Cate, and I'm currently a student at Skidmore College looking for childcare opportunities that fit around my class schedule! I've been babysitting for several years, and this past summer I worked as a nanny, which gave me even more hands-on experience caring for kids and keeping them busy, happy, and engaged. I've also volunteered in church nurseries and previously worked as a swim instructor and lifeguard, where I gained experience supervising children, handling unexpected situations, and providing first aid. I really enjoy getting to know each kid's personality and finding things they enjoy-whether that's playing games, getting outside, or doing something creative. I graduated from the South Carolina Governor's School for the Arts, so I especially love arts and crafts and creative projects! Now that I'm at Skidmore, I'm looking for families in the area who need occasional or regular childcare around my school schedule. I'd love the chance to get to know your family!
