About Cate

I have always had a passion with working with children. I have experience coaching diving and gymnastics, working as a teacher at a preschool, babysitting, dogsitting, and volunteering at an animal shelter. I am majoring in Early Childhood Education - Elementary Comprehensive (K-6). I have completed 3 years of this bachelors program and have learned so much about how to work with children. Through this program, I've gained experience teaching in a preschool and completing 50+ observation hours in schools, ranging from preschool through high school. I have also worked with ESL students as well as students with disabilities. My passion for teaching is something I take pride in, and making sure the children I work with feel safe and cared for is my number one priority. I also have my own car, am a non-smoker, and CPR certified.
