Hello I'm Cate (20 years old)! I am looking to be a part time nanny and helping your family out! I am a full time student-athlete at Eastern Michigan University, but my evenings are typically free. I have always had a passion with working with children. I have experience coaching diving and gymnastics, working as a teacher at a preschool, babysitting, and nannying for two different families. I am majoring in Early Childhood Education - Elementary Comprehensive (K-6). I have completed 3 years of this bachelors program and have learned so much about the fascinating minds of children. I care deeply about each child I work with/watch and love seeing them grow. Making sure the children I work with feel safe, comfortable, and cared for is my number one priority. Cate was a wonderful temporary nanny for our 2-year-old while our regular nanny was on vacation, and we were so lucky to find her. She is very sweet, attentive, and empathetic, with a natural way of connecting with children. She clearly cared about our toddler right away and was great at playing and engaging with her. Our toddler was so excited to see her every day! Cate took her to the park, followed our routine closely, and made everything feel easy. She was also punctual and took direction well. Cate is the kind of person you hope to find to watch your kids and we will definitely hire her again in the future.
