About Cate

I'm a caregiver with a passion for helping children grow and develop. I've been working in childcare for the past three years, primarily in the setting of kids summer camps. I've spent the last two summers at a Farm-based summer camp with kids between 6 and 14. In this setting I've had extensive experience with a variety of behavioral challenges, as well as first aid and CPR training. I absolutely love helping kids work through problems, grow and learn! I am patient, calm, and creative, and I always strive to create a safe and nurturing environment for the children in my care. I believe in open communication and collaboration with parents and caregivers to give the child the best chance at success. I love spending time outside and being active as well just staying in to play games or hang out. I am 100% comfortable around pets and super passionate about the positive impact animals can have in kids lives! I have my own transportation.
