About Cate

I'm a caregiver with a passion for helping children grow and develop. I've been working in childcare for the past three years, mostly in the setting of kids summer camps. Most recently I've worked at a Farm-based summer camp with kids between 6 and 14. I love being able to help kids grow and learn about themselves and the world around them. I am patient, calm, and creative, and I always strive to create a safe and nurturing environment for the children in my care. I believe in open communication and collaboration with parents and caregivers to give the child the best chance at success. I live spending time outside with kids, playing sports and enjoying nature, or just staying in play games or hang out. I am 100% comfortable around pets and super passionate about the positive impact animals can have in kids lives! I have my own transportation and speak English and some French and ASL (American Sign Language).
