For as long as I have known Cass she has had a heart for others. As a very young child her maternal instincts grew stronger through her playing with her Uncle Jerry who had Down syndrome. Spending time in the kitchen with her grandma or making mud pies with the neighbors. And when her brother Ricky was born she naturally woke up in the middle of the night to soothe his crying. During her homeschooling years for her boys she was also a nanny. Her creativity, artistic skills and energetic personality contribute to the many adventures and treasured memories captured and shared in scrapbooks sent to family. She has a way of turning strangers into treasured friends and family members. She is just that kind of person. She listens. She connects. She genuinely and deeply loves. Cass is among the other diamonds in the rough of this world when it comes to caring for others.
