About Cassandra

Hi my name is Cassandra! I completed my Undergrad experience and have recently earned my Preliminary Multiple Subject Teaching Credentials through Sacramento State. I have completed my student teaching experience in a 1st grade class and have experience as a Substitute Teacher all in the Elk Grove Unified School District. During my teaching experience, I have learned and still continue to learn about the various ways to meet the diverse learning needs of my students. I have become a reflective practitioner through the growth mindset ability by reflecting on ways to improve my teaching and lessons for my students especially during the past year of distance learning and then hybrid learning Additionally, I have worked in different after school programs, Child Development Centers and have worked as Instructional Aid in a Special Day Classroom. I am CPR/AED/First Aid certified. Lastly, I am a patience, adaptable, and hard working individual.
