I was born and raised in Nashville, Tennessee in the Green Hills area. My family fostered children for Davidson County. I learned a lot about kids at an early age. My inspiration to teach came when my little sister was born with Down Syndrome. I focused my college career towards early childhood education at Tennessee Tech University. Teaching preschool during my college years then a Lead Teacher at a special needs childcare center in Nashville. When the center closed, I decided to go back to school to National College. I worked in doctors' offices for the next several years. After, some life changes... I believe teaching is my calling. I am currently, enrolled at Trevecca in the master of education program. I live in Lavergne, Tennessee with my husband and our two sweet dogs: Stella Blue {Pitbull Mix} and Sadie May {English Pointer}. Most importantly childhood is all about having fun while learning.
