I treat every student as a unique individual. This means I meet my students where they are and cater to their individual learning style. I worked at a math tutoring organization for 9 years before I started tutoring independently 3 years ago. There, I specialized in working with students who were very far behind, students with behavioral issues, and students who were very far ahead. I take those skills with me into my private tutoring. I really enjoy watching students grow in their powers of comprehension, which inevitably results in growth in confidence. Teaching new students opens up fresh ways of approaching subjects for me as well. Continuing my own learning is one of my favorite things to do, and I try to share that joy with my students.
