About Casey

I've had the joy of serving as an educator/nanny/babysitter for several families all over the US. For the last five years, I have worked seasonally for families on the islands of Nantucket and Puerto Rico. Formerly, I taught Elementary Science in Key West from 2014-18 and am currently finishing my Primary (3-6) Montessori Certification (Self directed during 2019-20 pandemic school year). My experience is mainly with children ages 6mos.-7yrs. I prioritize kindness, empathy, self-sovereignty and peace into my care with children and foster curiosity through nature and outdoor play. Depending on the need, I'm happy to incorporate my teaching background into the care provided.

Casey pretty much saved our family during this insane and difficult time. She was dependable, calm, fun, active and energetic enough for our very energetic 2 year old son. She's incredibly knowledgeable when it comes to children and child development and definitely helped our son regain some independence and calmness when we were having trouble doing so on our own. She's simply the best and we were heartbroken when our time with her came to an end but appreciate how reliable and qualified she was so much. I cannot recommend her enough. Thank you Casey!
