8 years of experience in childcare, including long term care for families as well as one-time babysitting engagements, with all ages. 4 additional years of experience facilitating out of school time programming (before/afterschool and summer camps). Love working with children and doing a variety of activities, from crafting to outdoor play! I'd describe my personality as empathetic and cheerful. I like working with kids because I find joy in seeing their curiosity and wit, and getting to foster their learning. It's just fun! I'm open to longer term arrangements with families, but I work full time (7am-3pm) and am mostly looking for evening/weekend care jobs. I have the most experience with 8 month-11-year-olds but have worked with all ages. In my spare time, I like to go on long walks with my dog, spend time with friends and family, and skate. My skills include planning and facilitating activities, communicating clearly, and being caring through big emotions, etc.
