About Casey

I am a creative, helpful, positive teacher and mother. Kids are like sponges, ready to soak up new concepts and experiences with make believe, reading & hands on play. I hope to help parents balance career & family as a reliable nanny. I would nurture your little ones, help them develop through play, or assist with schoolwork. I started working with kids as a teen babysitter. I did tutoring in college. I have a BS in Ed from CMU. I started teaching at Bemis Jr High in 94. I raised 3 kids, now young adults. I opened my home as a summer care when they were young. I like to read, write, and make crafts. I enjoy recipes. I walk my dogs or ride my bike & swim. My family likes vacations. I'm near retirement & want to teach & care for kids on a small scale. My youngest is going to college & I would like to experience the childhood years again. My skills include teaching through play & positive reinforcement. I believe children do best when they feel loved and secure.
