I would be a great fit working with children because I am patient, nurturing, dependable, and genuinely enjoy helping children feel safe and comfortable. As a mother, I understand the importance of patience, consistency, routine, and meeting each child where they are. I also have experience caring for children with different needs and understand that every child communicates, learns, and handles emotions differently. I am very hands-on and enjoy keeping children engaged through play, outdoor activities, crafts, learning activities, and everyday routines. I am attentive to safety and comfortable handling challenging moments calmly and compassionately. Most importantly, I would care for the children I work with the same kindness, patience, and attentiveness that I would want someone to give my own child.
