I have a Bachelor's in Computer Science and a Master's in Education, both from the University of Notre Dame, as well as two years experience teaching math in a high school classroom and an active teaching license. I have tutored 30+ students over 7 years, and scored a 36 on the ACT and a 1580 on the SAT myself. I also helped one of my students improve their SAT score 370 points from a 910 to a 1280. We are so fortunate to have Carson as the tutor for geometry for our high schooler. He is just amazing at teaching concepts to teens and has a way of connecting with them. This really helps the teen in learning. More importantly, his way of teaching is calm and composed. He also keeps me in loop on how things are going. As a parent i really appreciate that. Carson is focused on ensuring that the teen learns and never abruptly ends the class - he is aware of tests and schedule and sends practice questions accordingly. I highly recommend him!
