About Carrie

I'm drawn to caring for seniors because my mom was diagnosed with early-onset Alzheimer's in her 40s. I began supporting her as a teenager, and in my mid-twenties I became her full-time caregiver for two years. That experience taught me the importance of dignity, patience, advocacy, and meeting each person where they are. I later spent 10 years building a caregiver training platform to help caregivers become more empathetic, prepared, and resilient. I'm now looking for meaningful work supporting older adults as a part-time or full-time care partner (open to live-in). My strengths include dementia care, emotional support, flexibility, family communication, and helping people age in place with compassion and respect. Outside of work, I enjoy running, cooking, reading, piano, drawing, and time with family and friends.
