My Experience Includes: Homewatch Care Givers of Falls Church, Falls Church, VA Summer 2014 Provided Occupational Therapy Assistant related techniques including personal care and everyday living skills; assisted a 92-year-old, legally blind woman with exercises to promote maximum physical functioning. Worked with the client to ensure the home was set up to promote maximum functional independence. Community Support Staff, Centers, Owego, NY April 2008 to August 2013. Collaborated with interdisciplinary teams to create personalized goal plans for children and young adults with disabilities, ages 3 to 19. Selected and structured hands-on activities to teach clients life skills, with a focus on communication and independence skills.
