With over 20 years of caregiving, I have helped many clients and families. Some things we have endeared together are Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, Dementia, ventilator dependent Quadriplegic, wound care and bowel care. I also do hospice and companionship care. I have experience with transfers including Hoyer lifts. I do cook and clean. I can also help with bathing, dressing and personal hygiene. I am willing to travel for 48 hour or longer shifts per week. I needed help with my 98 year old mother, so I could go help my daughter with her new baby. I feel so lucky that Carrie was free for that time, and that she accepted the job. My mother had never had a caregiver before, and was very against having someone in our home. Carrie came in and quickly won my mother over, treating her with respect and dignity. She cared for Mom expertly and didn't miss one point of my huge list I'd left for her. I plan to go away again in the fall, and am happy that Carrie is available to watch Mom again. She is a wonder, and I highly recommend her. I finally feel I can leave my mother so I can get away and feel comfortable doing so.
