About Carrie

Hi, my name is Carrie! I am currently a graduate student at Cleveland State. I am pursuing my master's in speech-language pathology. I love getting to know kids and watch them become confident in themselves and their ideas. I am inspired by children, and value them as equals. With this being said, I have had my fair share of having to discipline kids, or even just work through tough emotional expression with them. I try and provide a safe space or listening ear to everyone in my life, and children are no exception. I love being active outside, coming up with games, doing crafts, and imagining new worlds. I promise I will do whatever I can to be the best helper to you, and a trusted ally for your child. I am so lucky to have extensive experience with childcare- I directed musicals for elementary schoolers, coached a swim team of toddlers, taught swim lessons, worked at Ohio State's daycare, and have been a nanny/tutor for lots of families over the years.
