Hello! I'm looking to provide enthusiastic, warm & encouraging care for a family in need of a part-time sitter/nanny! I am a firm believer that a caregiver should offer so much more than just present adult supervision. I like to be fully engaged in activities like imaginative play, storytelling, art projects, crafts, etc. with the children I care for; allowing the child's interests and mood to determine how we spend our time together. For a little background on myself, I attended San Francisco State University as a Child Development major. I completed 21 Early Childhood Education units and my Adult & Pediatric First Aid/CPR certification. I have many years of childcare experience, including as a nanny for a family with a 5y. o. and a 2y. o., teaching in the toddler classroom at a preschool in Santa Barbara and then, running the Aftercare program at a Montessori preschool in the Bay Area.
