We feel so lucky to have had Carrie as our son's nanny for a year. She started working with us just before his first birthday. Carrie's background in childhood development immediately impressed us. Our son is particularly talkative, and we give Carrie the credit for that. She spent a lot of time talking to him, reading to him, taking him to the library and park, and playing music for him. She's also taught him some sign language, manners (please and thank you), and how to take responsibility (cleaning up after himself, saying sorry when he does something wrong). If you have a chance to work with Carrie, take it. We'd hire her again in a heartbeat.
