Hi there! My name is Carrie and I have 25+ years of working with all ages of people with developmental disabilities. I have worked specifically with children (80% with autism and/or adhd) for the past 5 years. I have a degree in Psychology with an emphasis in Human Development. I have extensive training in Positive Behavior Supports, Non-Violent Crisis Intervention, ASD, ADHD, and Down Syndrome. I really enjoy neurodiverse kiddos of all ages. My main focus is to create a safe space where we can get to know each other and find activities that are engaging and fun! I have experience with non verbal kiddos. I have also gone through an intermediate level of ASL. While I am not fluent, I have used basic signs as another option to communicate. The best care is individualized, its important to meet and appreciate people as they are. I don't shy away from challenging kiddos, elopement is the only challenge I'm not well suited to.
