My name is Carrie. I am the mother of two boys ages 13 and 19. I have a few years experience in caring for seniors. Although I have been a nanny for children for over 25 years I would like to start caring for seniors. I had cared for my grandmother part-time while she ultimately developed dementia and then passed away 2 years ago. I currently live with and care for my mom. Although, as of now, she only needs help with medicine and explaining things to her as she can get very confused sometimes. I would like to transition over to caring for seniors as I'm sure it would be most enjoyable and rewarding to help someone daily and to bring comfort to them on a daily basis. I am not CPR certified but would be willing to if the job requires me too.
