Struggling readers often bear the emotional scars of repeated failure. My coaching style offers far more than reading instruction. My students thrive in a positive, encouraging experience where they can be and feel successful, repair their self-confidence and restore their self-esteem. My learners work hard yet say they feel "smart", "proud", "relaxed" and "have fun" while in my learning environment. I am also comfortable partnering with my client's teachers in the learning loop to further support client success. I am a certified teacher with over 25 years of elementary classroom experience, now working as a professional reading coach. I specialize in reading remediation for learners ages 4years to adult.
