For about five months Carrie worked with my autistic son on an online 3rd-grade Math and Science curriculum for about 3 hours a day, 5 days a week. She was very effective at assessing our son's readiness for different topics, keeping him focused on his work, and making home schooling fun and effective. I have interviewed and worked with many teachers for my son, including ones trained to work with special needs children, and Carrie is among the most capable and competent tutors I have met. She is unusually conscientious as well. For example, she would prepare for lessons in advance on her own time. We ended the online homeschooling at the end of the year and our son has since said that he misses Carrie. I recommend her strongly.
