I'm a kind, loving, non-judgmental, inclusive, and knowledgeable Newborn Care Specialist/Nanny available for overnight or temporary or part-time daytime care. I'm CPR/AED/First Aid certified, TrustLine registered and fully vaccinated (Covid boosted, flu, tdap and mmr). In addition to raising two boys as a stay at home mom, I have 20 years experience caring for children from newborn to teenagers. I'm a CACHE certified Newborn Care Specialist and also a DONA International trained Birth and Postpartum Doula. And, I love animals, so pets are a bonus. However, I am allergic to cats. My heart is happiest when caring for newborns, infants and toddlers. I dove into the nanny world because I wanted to be of service to families and I wanted my career to have value and meaning. Carrie is hands down the best nanny I’ve hired. I was visiting from out of town for a few weeks and she helped care for my 7-month-old, and she was truly wonderful. She was always talking to my daughter, engaging with her, and playing with her. Some nannys I've hired just put on music but Carrie engaged with her so she could develop language skills. You can tell she really understands how important interaction is at this age. She also took a lot of initiative, always cleaning bottles and even offering to help with things that were outside of the job, which was beyond what I’d expect from a temporary nanny! On top of that, she’s just a very easy person to be around I looked forward to her coming. My daughter took to her energy right away, which says everything. I honestly wish I could take her back to my hometown with me. I can’t recommend Carrie enough.
