My childcare background started as the neighborhood and family babysitter since I was eight, and continued to do that until I was 15, when I began my work as a lifeguard and first aid responder through high school and some of college (I'm not currently infant CPR certified however am willing to do so) I was a part time nanny for a young boy on the spectrum during college and full time nanny for twins(12-24mo) for a year post college, taking other one day child care jobs along the way. I've taught children's dance after school programs, summer camps and spent a month in Uganda teaching dance, yoga and circus to 33 children in a group home. I took a break from Nanny work for 10 years as I worked full time in Theater as a Touring Puppeteer, Actor, Dancer and Costume Designer. In the last nearly two years I'm back at nannying and also a Birth and Postpartum Doula.
