Hello! I began volunteering at my local Cerebral Palsy Center when I was 14 yrs old, and continued volunteering, eventually landing employment as a teacher and client coordinator there. That was where it all started. I have since worked with adults and children with Autism, MS, Down Syndrome, etc. I am a Speech/Language Therapist by trade, and now have some medical background as well. I am familiar with different communication systems and know some ASL as well. Now that my children are "grown" (away at college), I look forward to pursuing a nanny position where I can help nurture and teach other children to grow into confident young ones. You will find me to be very patient, creative, fun and insightful. As for pets, we have had our share of dogs, guinea pigs, hamsters, parrots and more, so they are never an issue.
