About Carolynn

I have been a dedicated caregiver for 9 years providing compassionate and comprehensive care to my clients. I have experience with clients with Alzheimer's/dementia. My services include light daily cleaning, medication reminders, assistance with toileting, bathing, walking, running errands, wound care and accompanying clients to doctor's appointments. As a working artist, I have countless ideas and supplies for crafts/projects. I have a clean, reliable car and enjoy taking my clients out for safe, enjoyable outings. As a private chef, I enjoy cooking nutritious and delicious meals tailored to my clients' preferences. I am passionate about listening to and learning from my clients, often becoming a trusted friend and confidant. I have been wearing hearing aids for most of my adult life and can communicate and sympathize with others who suffer from hearing loss. I live in Lyons with my husband, a jazz musician and educator, and balance my caregiving making/selling art.
