My first nannying job was out of high school, for a family in Waltham with 3 children. The oldest was a diabetic girl. I checked her sugar daily and gave her insulin shots when needed. This position ended after 15 years. Then, I worked at Easter Seals, in NH within a residential setting with about 12 residents with different disabilities. They ranged from autism, seizures, brain injuries, and cerebral palsy etc... I left when I moved back to Massachusetts. Prior to that, I had been working for a family that had an infant with a brain injury. I fed her through a g-tube and administered her food and medications daily. I brought her to physical therapy weekly, and supervised Early Intervention visits, then applied what I learned at her home daily. The family moved to California in March 2016. I am CPR, First Aid, and AED Certified.
