About Carolyn

I've had the blessing of raising three wonderful children--first a single child, and then, two years later, adorable twins. It felt like I was nurturing triplets! I loved homeschooling them at times and truly enjoy spending time with preschoolers. As a faith-centered woman, my faith plays a big role in my life and my approach to nurturing and teaching. I'm a passionate teacher with a background in business literature and art. I'm currently going through a personal transition, as I step out of a 35-year marriage. I believe I could bring warmth and support to your family, and I am confident in my ability to help with tutoring in nearly any subject. I'm currently learning Spanish, and I would love the opportunity to be in a Spanish-speaking environment. I look forward to helping the family improve their English writing and speaking skills. My suburban always felt like the Magic School Bus -- we explored every science center we could find.
