About Carol

In my 57 years I have raised five children, been dorm mother overseas to 15 other children (from at least eight different nations), helped a single mother and her three young girls break the cycle of poverty, and, in the last 10 years have hosted more than 40 children in my home through Safe Families for Children. I have spent my entire adult life volunteering for non-profits and have never been salaried. I am eager to start earning money to be able to support the charities I love most (local artists, evangelical ministries, and one specific equine-assisted therapy ranch that is close to my heart). As to my upbringing, I was raised in the Midwest by a man who modeled unconditional love and a woman who lived her life in service to others. I am most happy when I can blend love with service. Using those gifts, I am eager to meet the needs of people in my community!
