I am a mother of three, but my two youngest are college-bound and I have extra time on my hands. I cared for my husband while he was battling leukemia, and I also cared for my mom over the course of a year when she was in the last stages of lung cancer. Hands-on care is something I've learned can be very rewarding, by just knowing what a difference I can make. Over the years, I have cared for seniors with traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, dementia, congestive heart failure, end-stage cancers, as well as the residual effects from strokes. I enjoy spending time with people and am very personable. If you have a need for errands or appointments, I'm happy to help. I enjoy cooking and cleaning for my clients, and I have plenty of excellent references available upon request.
Carol helped us while I was recovering from a serious shoulder operation and my wife needed to work. She was outstanding in every way. She is friendly and a pleasure to be with but also recognizes patients need alone time while recovering. She works Independently and anticipates what needs to be done. She always did extra things ( laundry etc) without being asked and she even assisted my wife with a garage sale. She also helped us grieve when our dog passed away while she was with us...she truly cares. I worked for thirty years in health care administration and would highly recommend Carol for any Care Giving position...
