My experience has been with high school and younger students that I tutored as part of the school day. The reason for listing only one year of paid tutoring is due to helping kids during school ( not tutoring for pay). Often I assisted kids struggling with core subjects before or after school because that was my heart, my passion. Working together to promote student mastery and proficiency in whatever topic gives me satisfaction. But, even more than that, coaching students is rewarding because I get to watch their dedication and hard work pay off in confidence. How exciting it is to see someone unsure of himself / herself begin to take steps toward doing well. Seeing a student's glow of understanding in formerly tough subject matter is priceless!

Carol worked at Henderson Independent School District at the high school level for several years. She was excellent with the students and took the time and patience to help each student succeed in whatever assignment or task put before them. She is experienced in several subjects including Reading, Biology, Chemistry and English. She would be an excellent tutor for any student no matter the age.
