My degree in Early Childhood Education, Montessori Nursery School Teaching experience and the parent of 3, grandmother to 8 has uniquely qualified me for this role. I have worked with local and vacationing families, providing childcare and parental guidance. I encourage close communication with parents and provide daily written notes. The main focus is the child. I work with them on age appropriate activities; reading, singing, art, building, sensory play, and more, with gentle guidance. I encourage the child's independence. While providing childcare, I can help parents troubleshoot the issues that arise. From sibling rivalry, discipline, feeding, language development, sleep, to whatever the concerns are. My most recent positions have been with newborns to 6 years old.

Carol cared for our son from the time he was 6 months old until 17 months, and we truly could not have asked for a better nanny. I was looking for someone who would give him individualized attention and actively support his physical and cognitive development. Carol exceeded every expectation. She is incredibly attentive, intuitive, and nurturing. She always met our son exactly where he was developmentally and gently encouraged him to grow. Thanks to her care, he is ahead of his milestones and thriving in every way. She consistently found thoughtful activities for him, made wonderful suggestions to help us further support his development and happiness, and brought a depth of knowledge about infants and toddlers—whether it was introducing solids, encouraging new motor skills, or engaging him in meaningful play as he learned to crawl, walk, and talk. Carol quickly became a beloved member of our family. Our son absolutely lights up when he sees her, and it has always given us so much peace knowing he is in such capable, loving hands. If we were not relocating, we would have kept her as our nanny for as long as possible. Anyone who has the chance to work with Carol will be incredibly lucky—she is truly exceptional, knowledgeable, caring, generous, and a joy to be around.
