I hired Caroline for a 6 week period during the summer vacation. Caroline is a very good natured, friendly caregiver who enjoys children, is safe with them, and is responsible at work. We were a garden variety mismatch so she quit without notice the morning of the second week after calling out sick the previous day. She cited difficulty in dealing with the toddler, a lack of larger space, and difficulties in having the parents working at the house during the day which she wasn't used to. I appreciated the honesty but it was too late by then to try and address any of the concerns. The only reason I'm leaving a review is the lack of notice. My advice if you hire Caroline is to recognize that she's conflict avoidant and to have clear guidelines and expectations for communicating issues in advance.
