About Caroline

Hello! I am a responsible, diligent, and capable caretaker and tutor eager to help out you and your kids. I have a Master of Science degree from Georgetown University in Computational Linguistics and an undergraduate degree from the University of Pittsburgh with majors in Linguistics and English Literature and a minor in Korean. I am transitioning to a new job and am looking for part time gigs to support myself in the interim. In my 10+ years of paid experience I have worked with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and autism as a Direct Support Professional at Friendship Community, and before that, I spent my summers nannying for local families. Being in academia myself and having worked as a writing tutor in Pitt's Writing Center, a tutor for GoPeer, and a TA for multiple classes, I am comfortable helping out with anything learning or tutoring-related, love to listen to and play music, in addition to any other care or home-related tasks you may have need for.
