I love working with those of special needs. My mom always told me that I have a special amount of patience for those on the spectrum or with cognitive disorders. Although I do not have as much experience as many, I am pretty close to my cousin who has been diagnosed with autism. I also help out a lot with my best friend's grandma who suffers from Dementia and Alzheimer's disease. I help her use the restroom, comb her hair, prepare meals, and keep her company. I would like to work in this type of field someday and would love some more experience.
