Hi there! I had the joy of teaching kids with Autism for 1 year. I completed the 40-hour online training to become a Registered Behavior Technician. I taught various domains in each child's treatment plan developed by the BCBA such as social, receptive and expressive language, behavior feeding, hygiene, cognitive, motor skills, and coping with emotional issues. Our circle time involved checking the weather, singing songs, playing with toys, reading books, and practicing quiet sitting. Each child I worked with was at a unique point on the spectrum. I will meet your child where they're at and help them in-home. The house must be smoke-free due to my asthma. I'm happy to fill out session notes, programming checklists, etc. DISCLAIMER: I was not trained in safety holds or self-defense. I am not equipped to work with clients who aggress toward themselves or their therapist.
