During the summer of 2007, I tutored my friend's son in preparation for kindergarten using a variety of hands-on, age-appropriate manipulatives to help him learn through play. I focused on his primary weakness, numbers, while teaching him about other subjects as well. I feel passionate about tutoring young children because it gives me the chance to share my education with them in a fun and meaningful way.
