About Carmen

I am a dedicated caregiver and student with several years of experience tutoring children. With skills catering towards children with learning disabilities and cognitive delays, I am fully adept at using positive reinforcement teaching techniques to encourage learning, foster curiosity and support mental and emotional growth. I am detail-oriented and highly creative, with a passion for art education. For the past six years, I have served schools and individuals alike as a tutor. During the pandemic, I assisted multiple clients at once with online learning and conducted homeschooling lessons, on top of standard childcare services. I am still working in and outside of schools, as well as taking private clients.
