About carmen

Carmen has been intermittently caring for my two children for several years. She is reliable and well-versed when it comes to the care of children with special needs. Carmen has always been very sensitive to each child's specific needs and has been open and receptive to taking on additional training and educational courses when our son's Occupational and ABA therapists have recommended them. Both of my children have sensory specific food issues and Carmen takes special care to meet their needs and ensure that their meals are always prepared appropriately. She always drops off their lunches at their school promptly and our school staff is friendly and familiar with her. We rely on Carmen to assist with taking our children to a school and their OT and Speech Center (once a week). She has always made sure they arrive on time, and she always does a check-in to let me know when they have been successfully dropped off at school. Although it is not asked for, we do always appreciate how thoughtful she has been about feeding out dog and letting out dog out whenever we are unable (work scheduling). Her ability to communicate with other family members in Spanish when she is here is also a huge help. She has been an assett to our family.
