Hi! my name is Carmen, and I am 29 years old. I began my childcare working with kids in special needs education at Castro Valley High School my sophomore year until I graduated in 2014. During that time I was also a part time nanny for various families in the evenings. After high-school I immediately began working as a kindergarten assistant and an activities teacher at after-school care in Piedmont when I eventually became the director of the program for 4 years. As well as working at the school I had multiple morning families I would care for as well as evening families I would nanny after my duties at the school. After gaining tons of memories and love for my students I began taking on nanny care full time and it's been 10 YEARS NOW! I've worked with 20+ families long term & short term. Crazy that it's been 10 years now & I wouldn't have chosen any other route. I also have a wheel of experience with kids/adults on the spectrum. Thanks for reading! :)
