I love children and feel that I was born to take care of them. Growing up in Mexico City, I always wanted to learn English, so after being a Spanish language teacher for some years, I decided to take a trip to the US. While I was in Houston in 1978, I met the love of my life and eventually got married and had a son when we moved back to his hometown of Seattle. While our son was growing up I enjoyed participating in his activities by volunteering at his school and being the driving mom for after school programs. I've lived in Mill Creek now for about 40 years and still very much enjoy being around kids any chance I get.

Carmen has been an incredible nanny for our son, . She is warm, patient, dependable, and genuinely caring, and it was always clear how much she truly cared for his happiness and well-being.

My son absolutely adores her, and we always felt at ease knowing he was with someone so attentive and nurturing. Carmen brought a calm, positive presence into our home and handled everything with kindness and professionalism. She was wonderful at engaging with him through play, conversation, and daily routines while also encouraging his growth and independence.

We have been incredibly fortunate to have her with our family for over a year now, and it has been an incredible journey.
She brings exceptional attention to detail and thoughtfulness to everything she does and is always extremely careful and attentive to our baby. She is very particular about routine, and we always felt that our child’s needs are being followed exactly as we preferred. What truly sets her apart is she always teaches good things to my toddler and spends quality time. 

Carmen has been has been an amazing care giver to our 5-month old. She is punctual, a great communicator, and comes with rich experience that she often shares with us (and we really appreciate it as first time parents). She keeps track of feed, sleep and diapers and gives us a summary for the day. She has gone above and beyond by providing contact naps so that naps extend for more than 30 mins. Our baby loves playing and spending time with her .

Carmen was wonderful with our daughter who was only 8 months old when started and we were so glad that we found her. She is very caring and always offers to help with any chores at home. She's very reliable, patient and  loving and we felt very comfortable to step out and leave our daughter alone with her. She was very sincere and focused a lot on our daughter's sleep pattern and was always teaching her new things. Our daughter loves her very much and so do we. She became so close to us and she will be the first to come to our minds if we ever require child care again.

Carmen has been helping me for past 2 years on and off with house hold chores and baby sitting my daughters 10 and 7. She is very reliable, accountable and responsible  individual.She takes pride in her work bring very affectionate person.My kids love her presence and feel very safe comfortable and happy.I truly recommend Carmen and I wouldn't imagine running my home without her  

Carmen started with us when our son was only 6 weeks old. We leave for Texas for the winter but I wish I could take Carmen with us! She is a wonderful nanny! Our son lights up when Carmen arrives in the morning. She is so great with our baby, very attentive, and dotes on him as if he was her own grandchild. I hope she is available when we return next summer. She is truly such a blessing. 

We love Carmen! Carmen watched our 6m old son from October 2022-March 2023 part-time. Carmen is very reliable, exceptional with babies, full of wisdom, and was a joy to have in our home. Our son took to her immediately and she has excellent experience with young babies. My son had bad reflux and had a difficult time with naps, but she was so patient, methodical, and could always get him to sleep without fussing. She sang, played, planned activities, helped prep light meals, and did house work. We decided for schedule and financial reasons to put Oliver in daycare, but we miss our days with Carmen. We would recommend her any time! Worth noting is Carmen was very communicative as well and I cannot remember her ever calling off sick or for other reasons. We knew she would be there when she said she would be. Thank you, Carmen! 

Carmen took care of my son from 6 months of age to 9 months. My son adores Carmen and he is very excited to see her when she walks in the door. I worked from home the entire time she took care of my son so I was able to frequently check in. She always interacted with him. I requested that she limited screen time for my son, and she has done so. She is caring and has helped my son develop. At first, he would not sleep well at all, but now, he is close to sleeping most of the night. Progress! Carmen will not only be good with your child, but also with you. She has been kind to me and offered me advice going through a difficult time in my personal life. I appreciate her wisdom not only with childcare, but also with life. She is wonderful and a treasure. I have never had an instance where I second-guessed her care for my son or worried about his safety. 

Carmen is lovely human who took care of my 6 month old baby so well. I have no reservations in recommending her. she is lively, smart and energetic.

Carmen is a true treasure and we are so grateful to have her in our lives! She cares for our son as if he were her own, and provides incredible support to us as parents too. It's evident in every interaction that she truly loves children. She is very interactive and attentive, filling the days with hands-on play, walks around the neighborhood, singing, and reading. I feel completely confident and worry-free when she's around, knowing my child is receiving the best possible care and safe supervision. He lights up when he sees her! Carmen IS joy, and she brings that to every interaction.

Carmen took care of our baby since he was 4 months old. We would hire her again in a second. She is natural with babies and genuinely loves being around them. She is reliable, punctual and dependable. She takes good care of the baby and also takes good care of the house. Carmen is family now. She is very thoughtful and kind. 
We interviewed many nannies for our baby but Carmen is the one who stood out. She was the only one who actually wanted to hold the baby and play with him during the interview. All her questions and attention was on the baby which gave us a lot of confidence in her genuine interest in the baby's well being. Months later, she continued to be reliable, kind, cheerful and trustworthy. She adapts to the family's needs and routines. She writes very details notes of the baby's schedule throughout the day. We like Carmen a lot and we would highly recommend her to any family who's looking for a great nanny and we'll miss her.

Carmen has been with us for 5 months now and she has been a great addition to our family. She is so sweet, kind and loving. She is always thoughtful and provides great advise and suggestions that this new mom appreciates. She helped get my now 15 month old little boy on a good sleep schedule. She is so patient and understanding and is always positive . W is always happy when she arrives because they have so much fun together. Their day includes dance parties, singing, going to the park, reading stories and always ends with blowing kisses. She is truly a one in a million find!

I hired Carmen for 4 months. She is a danger to your child. She left my son on the changing table alone; he was about to fall off the table if I have not come to the bedroom on time. She would put my son on a Bumbo chair on top of a kitchen counter without safety belts. There are dozens of reports of infants falling out of the Bumbo and suffering skull fractures.  She kept my child on a chair in front of the screen for almost all the time. I asked her to do tummy time with my son "on the floor" many many times. She put my poor son on a towel on the hard dirty bathroom counter because she did not want to sit on the floor. Placing a baby on the bathroom counter is not tummy time. She frequently asked me to buy activity chair to keep my son as immobile as possible. When I refused to buy an activity chair she kept my son on the highchair for prolong time. Once she told me that if a baby is choking you should lift the baby by their hands. This is a known myth.

Carmen has been caring for my daughter for several months. She is such a warm and loving presence in our home. 

As far as reliability is concerned, this woman is top-notch. She is always on time or early, and arrives with a smile and knowing patience. 

I depend on Carmen for meal prep and taking care of naps and bedtime while I am at work. She oversees all of these needs. She has even taken care of my daughter while she's been sick. 

I am so grateful to Carmen for the love and care she has shared with our family. Any family that is smart enough to hire her for their care needs will be better off for it. Thank you Carmen, you are a remarkable caregiver.

I am a first time mom and after being home with my daughter for almost a year I was very anxious to leave her when I went back to work. Carmen is everything and more that I could have asked for in a nanny! She is so thoughtful and caring and genuinely loves to be around little ones. My daughter is very comfortable with her. Carmen helped us get our daughter to nap more and get on a schedule, taught her to crawl up the stairs, and made our daughter delicious food. Leaving my daughter with Carmen gave me so much confidence when going back to work. She's competent, loving, and attentive to all needs. Aside from the exceptional care she provided my little girl, she also brings a great wealth of knowledge and life experience and quickly became a part of our family. I come home to a smiling and happy baby and I can't thank her enough for the love she's given us.

Carmen has watched our son since he was 6 weeks old, he is almost 1 now. She has been a wonderful nanny; and he absolutely loves her. She is reliable, punctual, and kind. Absolutely a natural with kids. 

Carmen is a kind and thoughtful woman, and was great with my newborn baby.  I would hire her back in a second.  We only had her for 5 weeks, but our family was so blessed to have her in our lives for that short time.
