About Carmen

I have been taking care of children most of life in many different capacities. I had younger siblings and I always loved being my mother's helper. I baby-sat all through high school and college. I helped run a child care cooperative in San Francisco while attending massage therapy school. I am now a mother of two, a 14 year daughter and 11-year-old son. I am patient, creative, and approachable, and I enjoy playing outdoor sports, board games, and educational games. I have a college degree and am comfortable caring for children of all ages. I follow parents' preferred communication methods and am very comfortable enforcing household rules. I am also trained in First Aid and CPR. I'm happy to help with cooking, carpooling, light housekeeping, and swimming supervision. I'm excited to bring my experience and enthusiasm to your family, and I'm confident that together, we can create a nurturing and enriching environment for your children.
