About Carmella

Working with children has always been a passion of mine. I am open to tutoring and childcare. With over a decade of experience and a degree in elementary education/special education I'm confident in my ability to provide reliable, safe, and engaging care/tutoring. I currently have a BA, MA and pursuing a second MA. I have experience as an assistant supervisor of a before and aftercare, and as both a general education teacher and special education teacher. I believe in open communication with parents, ensuring their preferred communication method is followed, and providing regular updates on their child's work/day. I ensure that I foster a positive and respectful atmosphere. I'm also happy to assist with homework, meal preparation, carpooling, and light housekeeping.
