About Carmelita

I started out caring for my mother in 2001, with that experience I learned to work a hoyer lift to help my mother transport in and out of bed safely. That experience allowed me to learn about home care on a profound level. Handling medical appointments, medical care, preparing meals, bathing, grooming and spending time with my mom watching TV, playing cards, and conversation. I decided to become a certified private care aide and then a certified home health aide. My passion in home care is due to the fact that I love caring for people and making a difference in their lives. I now have the opportunity to allow a client to stay as independent as possible while giving the family some relief and peace of mind that their loved one is cared for in a compassionate professional manner. I have worked for 4 families since 2011. I truly enjoyed my time with all the families and clients. I am looking for another family so I can assist in making their lives better as well.
