About Carly

Hi there! My name is Carly, and I'm a former behavioral therapist, and I am currently a professional chef working in DC. I have experience working with children on the autism spectrum, and I'm passionate about creating a safe and fun environment for kids. Whether we're playing outside, doing arts and crafts, or whipping up a delicious snack, I'm always looking for ways to engage children and help them grow. If you're looking for a reliable and caring babysitter, I'd love to hear from you! I am currently looking at taking the winter season off from cooking as things slow down at the restaurant. I am comfortable cooking nutritional meals and purées for children of all ages. I am also a firm believer in Montessori education and can provide different opportunities to teach skills that are not taught in the classroom, including food safety and simple/safe cooking skills that include learning and practice different motor skills
